Sarah was born in Reading, Pennsylvania in 1978. She received an Associates of Applied Science with a major in Glass from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1998 and Bachelors of Fine Art from Rhode Island School of Design in 2001. She relocated to the San Francisco Bay area in 2001 to work for a glass and sculpture studio in Napa, CA. In 2003 she traveled to Hungary to attend the Hungarian Multicultural Center's residency program. In 2006 she was awarded an Individual Artist Grant through the City of Oakland's Cultural Art's Program. She received her Masters in Fine Arts from Mills College in 2011. She currently lives and works in Oakland, CA and teaches sculpture in the bay area while exhibiting her artwork throughout the United States.
